Smith Crawfish Boil

To all of the mothers out there, this is your day. We were blessed to have spent the previous weekend with my mom, and this weekend with Tann's family. 

Avery and Justin hosted a crawfish boil / Sidney's Graduation / Mother's Day / Housewarming party.

Miss Molly helped host the party as well. 

She escaped Uncle Tia thank goodness and showed Audrey all of her crawfish.

This was my first time with artichokes in the boil, and they were delicious! 

If you haven't tried it, you definitely mush!

 Omie & Opie still going strong at 88 years, while Hayes has just begun..

 Audrey was quite busy herself with her cousins, Molly and Hayden.

Digging in the ice chest  was like they had found gold! Their butts were all wiggling in the air as they were digging and slurping down the ice. One of them even fell in!

Then Audrey hit the jackpot...convincing Omie that she didn't need to work so hard in opening the presents! Audrey would gladly do it for her!

Omie had to be convinced a little, and Audrey made her payment in sweet kisses. 

We had a good time catching up with a lot of the family we hadn't seen in quite a while, including Elicia.

Audrey had a blast with all of Molly's toys, including the little sit-n-spin. We use to have those when we were little! So much fun. 

She also fell in love with Drake, their black lab. 

Audrey's not used to being able to hug on a dog and it not run away. Cane isn't that calm.

Looks like Drake and Audrey were both worn out!

It was a good Mother's Day!
