He kicked his way out... literally! The delivery was smooth for the most part. They think the umbilical cord was pinched, causing his heart rate to drop, but the doctors took care of him and us.
We left for the hospital around 10:00 am, and had him 6 hours later!
MeMe and PawPaw came to meet their new grandson...
along with Mama C and Daddy D with Audrey in tow. The picture says how Audrey felt at that moment. This is a classic! It makes me laugh every time I look at it!
He was very calm from the get go. The minute he heard our voices, he stopped crying.
In an instant we both fell in love with him. It's indescribable...
