Happy 2nd Birthday Audrey

Audrey finally woke up from her much needed nap.
As she was napping, Nana was busy decorating for her birthday party!
Family members were arriving, and the cupcakes were being put out.

Yummy! we ate on the cupcakes for about 2 weeks after the party! They were delicious!

Audrey put her dress on and was ready to party!

We got a few family shots before the party began.

Hayes was only 4 days old.

I thought it only made sense to have Audrey's birthday party when everybody was going to come in town anyways. We had a revolving door for a few days, and were able to see a lot of the family!

Pizza time! Kyle sat to eat pizza with Audrey. Poor guy missed most of the party because he wasn't feeling too swell. He took a nap to save his energy for the after party.

We tried to light the candles, but it was so windy that we never got them lit. By that time, the birthday song was already over. She was digging in by then!

She went for the icing and the candles first. I did notice a little bite out of one of the  candles, so we quickly confiscated those!

Yummy cupcakes! This was much easier to manage than the entire cake from last year! She licked all the icing off, and was then a little bored with the cake part. The icing is the good stuff!

She was so excited about Molly being there.

Molly is 5 months younger than Audrey, and keeps up with her every step of the way.
Audrey opened her presents next. She is so good at unpacking the presents! I had to slow her down because I couldn't keep up!

She did rack up on Elmo gifts, that she loaded into her new grocery cart! Daddy took away the wire one that we had, because she kept getting her feet caught and tripping. We didn't want any broken ankles. Audrey was super excited about that.

Now that Kyle woke up, it was time to play!
Audrey tried to paint herself as a Smurf, in blue chalk.

Chalk and bubbles were all these 3 needed! They kept each other quite entertained.

Daddy showed Audrey how to use her new bubble gun!

Bubbles galore! Oh my goodness! I love this picture.

It's like they can't contain themselves they are so excited!

By this time, they were filthy! That's what the pool is for, right?

The pictures say it all!

Don't worry, they didn't run out of things to do...the John Deere tractor was waiting!!!

I can't tell you how many times Audrey has fallen out of that little trailor, and yet she still insists on riding in it. She likes to ride rather than drive. This was a good partnership because Kyle was a pro at driving!

This was a great, relaxing birthday party! Audrey had a wonderful time and says thanks for all her family that came to visit! We are truly blessed to have so much family that loves us and travels to see us. I know I get easily overwhelmed sometimes, but it is worth it to have so many loved ones around us. Thank you all. We love you!
